Camp Bestival Review - Sunday

We geared up ready for our final day at Camp Bestival knowing that we wanted to stay up late tonight for the fireworks we planned to do a few bits until about mid afternoon then head back for a nap before heading back out later on!

We started the day at the Festival of the Girl seminar which was inspiring and amazing! These ladies are pledging to change the world for all the girls within it, we made our pledges (Seb included) and I would highly recommend that you check them out!

After that we headed to the Skate school so that the kids could get a skateboard lesson from Tic Tac Skateboard instructors, they were amazing and really helpful and encouraging to the kids!

We then grabbed some lunch and stopped to have a little rave in Bollywood with some giant balloons!

We stopped to watch Fit Circus on the way past so me and Graham could get a drink, we loved these guys they were so funny!

Then we headed off to Big Top Mania for something Seb wanted to watch “Dangerous Dave”….now as we were in the circus tent we were expecting some kind of stunt show? Little did we know that the stunt man would be a 6 inch high puppet 😂🤦🏻‍♀️ But the kids loved it all the same.

After the thrills of Dangerous Dave we headed back to the tent in the hopes that the kids would have a sleep for an hour or 2 so that we could head back out later on for the fireworks finale. After a few games of cards they eventually caved and slept just in time for the rain to come bouncing down! Needless to say we were happy to be in our tent at that point!

Around half 7 we walked back into the arena for some tea! As it was our last tea we asked what everyone wanted, I’d been eying up some Korean chicken for days so I had that! The kids both wanted a burger and Graham went for a kebab!

Food in our bellies we went on the Helter Skelter, both kids wanted to do it and wanted to do it when it was lit up after that they wanted to go on the Ferris wheel. It was amazing to see the views over the whole site especially all lit up!

Half way round, Rag n Bone man started his set so we got some churros and found a seat ready for the rest of his set.

Just after he finished the fire works started, they were brilliant! We stood and watched armed with our souvenirs of robot teddies for the kids and a blanket for me and watched as our weekend drew to a close. an absolutely perfect ending to a perfect weekend!

This post is a PR Trip, I was offered free tickets to attend but not asked for any posts or recomendations as compensation but was asked to promote the event before hand. All opinions are my own.
